Fifth Annual HALL OF FAME GOLF CLASSIC to tee off Monday June 20th

Philadelphia,  March 17, 2011 -  The Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame hosts its annual Hall of Fame Golf Classic on Monday June 20, 2011. The fifth annual fundraiser is at Huntingdon Valley Country Club in Huntingdon Valley PA.

The Hall of Fame Golf Classic features many past Hall Inductees and Philadelphia-area sport personalities partnering up with public supporters and corporate sponsors for a fun day on the golf course, followed by a cocktail reception and dinner. The event includes many contests, including a Hole-In-One contest for a new car, the “Million Dollar Challenge” and both a silent and live auction during the post-golf reception.

Long time Phillies and Eagles public address announcer Dan Baker serves as Master of Ceremonies. Former Channel 6 and Fox 29 sports broadcaster Don Tollefson is the live auction event Auctioneer. Hall of Fame golfer and past-President of the PGA Jack Connelly is host professional.

The Hall of Fame Golf Classic offers sponsorships opportunities at various levels that appeal to individual golfers as well as corporate personnel. The Presenting Sponsorship has been crafted to allow a potential sponsor a true year-long partnership with the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame that includes the Hall upcoming Induction Ceremony in November as well as other events.
